My latest craft project!

I found this crochet pattern on-line and decided to try it out. It was a really REALLY easy pattern and looks pretty dang cute on my little girl! Honestly; however, I think almost anything looks cute on Scotland. I am not a huge fan of ponchos but since it was such an easy pattern and I thought that Scotland would really enjoy the fringes I decided that this was a pattern I could not pass up. I am glad I made it! It turned out so much cuter than I ever imagined it would.

A trip down memory lane

Okay, only one more post today. Brief story here. Right before the twins were born (I'm talking just days) a friend of Aaron's came over and took pictures of us for a Christmas gift to me from Aaron. LOTS of time passed and we never saw the pictures. I was so sad since these were basically the only pictures I had of me pregnant with twins. This last Christmas Aaron, I mean Santa left a USB disc in my stocking and on this was all the pictures. I was so happy!! I guess Aaron had gotten in touch with this guy again and got him to give us the pictures. Anyways, I though that some of you might enjoy seeing me HUGE with twins.

Lid Drawer

Scotland just found our lid drawer in our kitchen. She had so much fun for so long! All she did was take this one lid out and put it back in, over and over again. She was so cute getting so excited about this simple activity so I had to take a picture. She really is a doll!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope that you all had an enjoyable one. For my kids for Valentine's Day I made the boys super hero capes. They loved them and wear them. Here are a few pictures of my super kiddos!

Gabe, posing on his horse. Gabe actually has quite a few pretty hilarious poses!

Ezra, his cape is a little long on him but at least he will grow into it.

Landon, sitting on his bike (it's kind of hard to tell, he just looks short). He was not quite as sure about the capes at first (I think mostly because of his sensory issues). Once he noticed how cool everyone else thought they were, he decided they weren't so bad.

Move over Emeril!!!

I like to cook for my little guys and I try to make nice things, somewhat healthy things, and fun things. One day for lunch I decided to just go for the fun things to make and made pigs in a blanket. I know, they are not healthy or good (in my opinion) but I thought the kids would think that they are fun. Sure enough they did. They thought they were SO fun. While eating them, Gabe looked up at me and said, "I love you mom." I replied, "I love you too Gabe." He then said, very excitedly, "You are the best cooker in the WORLD!" I laughed and said, "thanks Gabe." So his wife will probably never have a hard time pleasing his stomach.
If any of you are dying to get my recipe, it will only cost ya $250. I AM the greatest cooker in the world after all!!

Without a doubt, THE cutest girl in all of Tacoma!!

Ok... So I am a little bias, but just look at her!!! I really think she is SO cute! She has gotten a few new tricks to impress anyone that is lucky enough to bask in her beauty.
She now has decided that fish lips are oh so fun! I just giggle every time she does it. You all are very lucky that I caught it on my camera phone, she will not do it on command and if you do it to her in hopes of her copying, she looks at you as if you have broccoli growing out of your nose.

I just think this is cute. She is crawling now (which the picture does not show). Her method is unlike any I have ever seen. She (unlike any other child I have ever known) learned to do her legs first. So she gets her cute tush up in the air, pushes a little and eventually lets her arms catch up, army style. What a cute little bug!

Landon's Backpack

For Halloween I bought the boys some glow-in-the-dark buckets to put their candy in. These buckets have been used in SO many ways! I put toys in them as I am cleaning, when there is something that Abby (the lady that cleans my house) doesn't know where it goes she puts it in the buckets, they make great bath toys, the kids even used them to puke in when they were sick (after which they were disinfected thoroughly). My favorite use; however, has been Landon's use. He uses it as a backpack. He doesn't store anything in it so I guess it is more like a camel hump, but he goes EVERYWHERE with it!

Here he is in his room (please ignore the mess in the background) just chillin' with his little camel hump.

Here you can kind of see how he goes about sporting it. He wears the handle across his chest as I do with my purse strap.

Here he is in the bath even! Not such a good picture of Landon but I think it is SO funny! Hope you all got a kick out of it as I did.
